About Deena
Deena Douglas is a Master Energy Therapist and Animal Communicator. With over twenty
years of experience, Deena has worked by distance with animals around the world to help
them heal, have relief from pain and communicate effectively with their human family.
Deena is a trained Reiki Master Teacher, Educational Kinesiologist and Energy Healer. She
was trained by Mary J. Getten in the Penelope Smith method of Animal Communication.
She is also trained in Integrated Energy Therapy and is a Spiritual Response Therapy and
Spiritual Restructuring consultant, fortunate to have studied under Rev. Robert Detzler
who developed Spiritual Response Therapy.

unconditionally. Deena has always had a deep love and affinity for
animals, ever since she was a child. Because of this love, at the
age of 20, she felt drawn to become a vegetarian. She has had
pets since childhood, her current dog family consisting of her 4
beloved Bichon Frises.
“There is no greater joy than knowing that I am bringing comfort
and healing to an animal,” said Deena. “My approach is to always
honor and respect the animal and have his or her best interest at
heart.”
Deena started Healing Hands for Pets, providing both in-person
and distance healing treatments, intuitive guidance and animal
communication for companion animals. Her integrity, warmth and
sensitivity make her a sought-after Energy Healer and workshop
